The degree program at the Faculty of Social Work is interdisciplinary, practical and research-oriented - right from the start. It qualifies you for a wide range of professional activities in traditional and innovative fields of social work.

Upon successful completion, you will acquire a double degree in Social Work and Social Pedagogy as well as state recognition.

Study concept

Our Bachelor's degree program systematically combines theory and practice: central macro modules are taught in all semesters - including the theory and practice of social work, legal principles, human science principles as well as management and social policy. Reflecting on practical experience promotes sound theory formation.

Practical orientation & elective options

A continuous practical orientation, interdisciplinary forms of learning and a wide range of compulsory electives allow you to develop your own individual profile. The course specifically strengthens your practical skills - with modules on interviewing, social work methods, media education, research workshops and key qualifications.

The Bachelor's degree in Social Work with a double degree in Social Pedagogy qualifies you for a wide range of professional fields.
